| Students
will learn about the naval stores industry that existed along
the coastal plain of North Carolina from the
early 1700's until the mid-20th century. An original tar kiln site,
a reconstructed tar kiln, an original turpentine still and "box
faced" long leaf pine are some of the historic training aids
that highlight this class. |
